The Barley Room/ Amazing Story

Well im going to start this blog off with a story that my boss told me the other night at work. ya it was that slow he was telling me stories from the 70's! it was pretty much amazing...

so the story starts off... my boss and three friends were going to a lake to go on the boat and chill. This was in Canada (where hes from) and at the time they had a 1960's van, with the mural on the side of it. Well they took out all the seats and only had the two front seats in the van. My boss and his friend were in back and his two friends were up front. (my boss was sitting on lawn chairs in the back, just imagine if there was an accident he would have been dead!) anyways, as they were pulling the 17 foot boat they were listening to the pink floyds the wall and smoking some marijuana. My boss and his friend in the back were trying to hotbox the whole van, they accomplished it and the driver (stoned very stoned) opened the door and the smoke came out... soon this car was trying to pass them. (apparently it was a small mountain road and only fit one car and if two were on it, it would be very sketchy, you know those roads right?) well this car was trying to pass them and kept on honking his horn. The driver in the van says this guys not passing us and floors it! They are going about 50 mph on this dirt road heading towards the lake, the car doesn't pass them. Its a success!!! so they get to the lake and the car following them pulls up to the van and tells them, " I wasn't trying to pass you, I just wanted to tell you when you hit a bump you lost your boat about 6 miles back." The guys in the van were so stoned they didn't even know that the boat was lost on the bumpy road. I guess thats the affect of smoking marijuana.

well last night was pretty entertaining. I went out for a friends bday it was pretty chill, just hung out really but it was chill! well we ended up going to this bar called the barley room. (i knew it was an older persons bar but I didn't realize it was a REALLY OLD persons bar.) As I was standing next to the table talking to some friends a couple of older ladies walk right in front of me and start dancing. (im talking about 60 years old.) they rub jimmy's face and wink at me i immediately have a deer in the headlights look and look at my friends. they walk away thankfully. I believe they had about 15 to many drinks for the night, rough estimate! well we finally get a beer and just hang out, and the ladies come out of the bathroom and immediately start walking our way. We stand with our back towards them as they walk by they, grab our butts. I again am totally shocked with these ladies flirting with us. There was about 10 people around our table and jimmy and myself were the only ones that were getting rubbed on/grabbed on/ and hit on. It was pretty much gross. well in order for me to lighten up the night I decided to go out on the dance floor with all the old people and look extremely weirded out! (a picture will follow.) we then after only one beer decided to leave this place and go to billy's longbar.
billys was fun and we ended the night with a good conversation with some friends and came home!

last night was pretty awkward but hey it happens and if I ever see those ladies again while they are not drunk, you best believe I will be going up to them saying, "hey remember me? the barley room? an amazing night!?" (wink wink) just to scare the crap out of them! lol

My day off

well today was my day off from good ol' work. It was a nice relaxing day I spent it with my niece and my mother. We were supposed to go to Cliffs Amusement park but we decided to go to dions, hinkle and then dairy queen... what a spoiled girl huh? jk! but this is us about to ride the Go-Karts

It was a great time, she is a really good driver and she almost ran me off the road about 1o times. I wouldn't want to be on the track when she is ever again!
Now I will be watching the Detroit Red Wings play tonight I hope they win! but who knows when it comes to hockey its anyones game. Today was pretty uneventful just hung out really and it was a nice day of relaxation... but heres some pictures that I have taken recently.

These are my moms dogs which are the coolest dogs ever! Rosie is my little black one and she is the coolest dog ever! I really mean EVER!

this is the place where my new band practices acoustically. those are the new mics and stands that we just bought for a really good deal!

Oh and jimmy asked me to get him some beer so i went to quarters... he told me he wanted linengoogle... i asked him what you want clothing and a search engine? it was funny because thats what Jimmy intelligence is all about! but I did get him some linenkugel and I think I just might have to have one or two.

Memorial Day 2009

well this last memorial day was a great one... it started off with a massive hangover from a crazy sunday night! (read previous blog.)

I woke up with a terrible hangover and went to buffalo wild wings, that place cures all hangover problems im telling you! then I came home beat jimmy in tiger woods golf! (he was ahead by 10 strokes and i came back and won by 9) it was am amazing comeback or horrible golfing skills by jimmy. anyways I went to the isotopes game which is always a great time. I think Iwill make it a point to go to at least one game a week when they are in town, its always good to support your local AAA baseball team!

well at the game we continued to drink a few beers... for the day it was my 5th and I was having a great time, JB and Bri have only had about two beers each so they were just chillin. Jimmy was my DD so he was completely sober! (thats a good DD and RESPECT!) But after the game we go back to JB's house and this is where the night gets pretty retarded.

There was only 5 of us at JB's playing rockband. JBizzle is the singer in the "rock band," and he is true rocker status, he decides to get completely wasted while singing. (he drank about a 1/5 of a gallon of Makers Mark, it was insane. In about three gulps he was instantly wasted!)... i will be posting pictures of the rockband night at the end of the blog. well we all have a couple of beers and are enjoying ourselves. JB has this bright idea to get out the WINE and start drinking it. Im not much of a Wine person so I denied and just kept on drinking my beers. But Bri, JB, and Megan start drinking the wine, but JB isn't drinking it, he is CHUGGING the wine. Its red wine so it couldn't have been good even chugging the damn thing! So megan and Bri are on their first glasses and JB opens up another bottle of wine and literally just chugs the whole bottle of wine. He then gets extremely drunk, he was just drunk before but now he is EXTREMELY drunk!

The night ended me beating JB in Wii bowling with his own player, which to this day he will say it was unfair that I beat him. (I think that he was that drunk he couldn't have beat me with his own player.) So after the wii bowling JB gets online and starts checking the facebook and starts talking crap to me. I will post a video of him trying to talk crap to me. (thanks for the apology JB, but it was a lot funnier than mean!) I was tired and Jimmy drove us home.

It was a good day all in all, Brian hope your flight went good and we will be seeing you at the bachelor party and then ill be flying out there in september! and to JB it's always a pleasure when you grace your great ora around me. Remember your still going to be in my web series no matter what! and Jimmy it was good hanging out with you once again, and even when im drunk I beat you in tiger woods... just face it that parking spot is mine! hahahaha

Im Hungover

so last night for a sunday in albuquerque was pretty intense. we walked downtown and started off the night at the distillery then went to the library about 10 minutes of being downtown.
we go to the library and its salsa night and everyone is trying to get me to dance salsa with them. it would be rather entertaining if i was dancing, especially salsa! but we ended up taking shots and drinking a lot of beers and i ran into some co-workers and figured id go talk to them. it was an alright conversation, apparently i was gone for quite awhile and the bar was closing.
we all decide lets go back to my house its only 12 and we have some beers just chillin. this is where it gets interesting.

theres these two girls that are goign to give us a ride back to the house (we live like a block away from downtown we were just that wasted.) well we get a ride, the girl is driving, the other girl and their friend are up in the front seat. while the girl and their friend close the door, the guy slams one of the girls hand in the door. it was bruised pretty sick! then me, jb, and brian (we are all pretty big guys and it was in a bmw with probably the smallest back seat in the world!) sit down and jimmy lays across our laps and we get going. jimmy was in jimmy intelligence and he knew exactly where we were without even seeing the road. he is giving directions not even looking at where the streets are and gets us there without no mistakes! (that i believe is more jedi power than jimmy intelligence).

so we get inside and everyone comes in, and we decided to try and finish off the handle of makers mark, it doesn't go very well when your already drunk and taking shot after shot. well eventually i feel like total crap and just drink beers til the end of the night. i eventually passed out and confirmed our golf reservation at 9:30 in the AM. and we eventually had to cancel because none of us woke up til about noon today.

Last Night 5/23/09

well well well i waited basically til about 11pm to go out and meet with some friends. Once my friends were finally done with the fight thats where everything got pretty funny.

It was great seeing a long time friend Brian that just came into town from California. Well we started off the night at Fox and Hound my night sucked because I was the DD but hey its better to be safe than drive drunk! Dont EVER Drive DRUNK!!!!

Well we had a good time just talking and ish. Then my buddy ex roommate scott came over and he was already intoxicated and was just having a great time. He brought a new life to the table and the "party." he was trying to talk to a friend of ours by saying, "hey". I told him if he wants her attention call her a "trick" (as a joke of course) he was drunk so he goes hey TRICK she immediately turns and looks at him, his eyes looked like a deer in headlights, it was priceless. well we got done with fox and hound after about 3 hours and 9 drinks later. The funny stuff starts.

While we are on our way to Billys Long Bar, somehow the philopian (spelling?) tubes of woman came up. Scotts theory was that once the guy ejaculates seamen the philopian tubes just run out and grab the seamen and then produce a kid. It was simple as that! He talked about this theory for about 10 minutes all the way over to Billys. It was rather hilarious that he thought that is how an actual baby was created. (After this blog I will be emailing him the real way babies are created, so he doesn't mess it up when its time to give the "Birds and the bee's" talk).

well we get to Billy's and they order more drinks, its scotts turn to buy drinks he can't hardly speak so the bartender says, "are you sure you even need a drink? your having a hard time even talking!" Scott says ya he wants 6 Jager Bombs and 3 Corona's. Thats a lot for only 3 people drinking, then he bought the two girls a shot and a drink. His tab was about 70 bucks on just his round. anyways they all slam their shots and just hang out. Scott gets cut off immediately after that. He was so bad he couldn't even buy cigarettes! so he convienced Jimmy to go to the bar and buy cigs for him. Well Jimmy comes back with Scotts cigarettes and Scott try's to go outside. He makes it! Its nice and quiet and we are all having a good convo. Well Scott comes back into the bar and tells one of our girl friends lets kiss. She was taken back and says what the heck lets do it. (it was just a little peck, nothing actually worth saying i made out with her). Well the two girls get a great idea that they should do a three way kiss with scott, scott is taken back but agrees. (i mean what guy wouldn't). so he goes in for the three way kiss it lasted about 3 seconds (no toungue or anything just pecks). and he keeps on going in the girls back away and scott lands flat on his face. It was priceless, brian tried grabbing his arm, jimmy's just laughing, i have the camera on and can't stop laughing. (good thing we know the manager we didn't get kicked out right away.)

so we left the bar and this is where Jimmy's drunkeness finally comes out. we were driving and someone how seamen came back up again. Jimmy had this thought that if your in the arctic or the beach your seamen is the same temperature. He is a firm believer that if your in the predicament of having sexual activity in the middle of the arctic friction will keep the seamen at the same temperature as your body. (i need to google this to make sure he isn't right!) but he is fully convienced that he is a genius at this point, he tells me to shush and go on with his ideas. He them proceeds to tell me and scott (who is almost passed out in the back) that he is no longer and regular human activitiy level. He just went to Jimmy intelligence! I asked him to explain that but he said that will come on another day! we drop scott off he stumbles to his house, can't find the correct key and we wait in the car for about 4 minutes until he gets into his house.

Well we drive home Jimmy is still trying to explain how theres a Jimmy Level of intelligence rather than just a normal person of intelligence. We get home I crack open a beer, my first one of the night comes at 2:20 in the AM! and turn on the big bang theory. Jimmy is drunk and opens a beer and sits down, he puts the chair up and says all he see's is double. (in my head im thinking thats the level of jimmy intelligence, drunk and seeing double to make everything correct!) but he didn't say anything. He tried to get up out of his chair about 3 times equal success rate as failure. Finally he gets up and so do I and i go to bed.

Being sober on a night where everyone around you is drinking, its rather entertaining. I mean it was well worth it for me to not be drunk because I knew that two of my close friends would be getting a safe ride home!
I think i will be blogging about two times a day now. One in the morning and one after work or mid night. and the stories i have will get funnier and funnier i promise! this is just what happened last night!

WHY?

why does everyone drop everything on a saturday night to go watch a ufc fight? its like the rest of the world doesn't exist until the fight ends. If your a UFC fan then cool, but why let it control your life?
its a saturday night in good ol' albuquerque new mexico and your wasting away in front of a tv screen watching crappy fights. im stuck here at my house waiting for all you to finish with this ufc fights so i can go out and hang out with my friends.

but its time for a couple of drinks and some good music, so i will be blogging tomorrow afternoon when i wake up! have fun tonight and be safe! if your out on the town definitely give me a text or call!

hey whats up people of the blogger world? well this is my first blog on this new blogger.com website.

whats up with me? well we have been writing some amazing music these last couple of days and we think we finally found our drummer!!!! which im pretty stoked about if you couldn't tell from all the exclamation marks. also my two best friends and myself are in the process of making a really sweet web series tv show. we haven't figured out the name yet but we have basically four of the episodes already written. We are all pretty excited about this new adventure in our lifes.

oh, and last night I met Cheech and Chong at my work. It was really cool to see the stoners and talk to the stoners themselves! other than that, thats all the blogs that I have for today, i will be blogging a lot more through out the weeks I am planning on doing about 3 or 4 blogs a week.
